Elantolia is pleased and proud to exclusively offer a limited selection of exquisite porcelain pieces fit for a palace. These pieces are individually handcrafted by dedicated artisans who have been handed down their art from generation to generation at the porcelain atelier attached to Yildiz Palace, in Istanbul. The atelier was commissioned by the Imperial Palace in the late 19th century.
All of the original molds were brought to the facility from the French Limoges, and Sevres porcelain factories. Subsequently, over the past century, many new designs and molds were created by local artisans and added to the original Limoges and Sevres molds. In the 21st century, this facility has matured to become one of the premier sources of outstanding handcrafted porcelain pieces of inimitable design and impeccable craftsmanship, earning the atelier a well deserved worldwide reputation for excellence.
The porcelain produced in the early years is particularly noteworthy because the atelier commissioned acclaimed local artists to create original Turkish designs and apply them to uniquely shaped porcelain pieces. Today the atelier is still faithfully producing these outstanding early pieces with the same dedication to excellence. The classic pieces are painstakingly recreated one at a time, while contemporary designs are gradually added to the collection.
Historical designs from the late 19th and early 20th century are featured in the collection offered by Elantolia. In particular, we offer the outstanding and uniquely Turkish blue Iznik porcelain, and the matchless Turkish designs of the Classical Under-Glaze pieces. Both of these collections are highly acclaimed by experts and sought after by collectors worldwide.
Elantolia uses special packaging to protect the porcelain at no charge to the client. We do not offer complimentary shipping on porcelain, therefore the cost of shipping is added to the price of the porcelain. However, we never charge so called handling charges, and our shipping charges are a pass through item, i.e., we never charge our customers any more than what we are charged by the shipper.
In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or faulty, Elantolia will pay all return shipping charges, and replace returned pieces, or at the clients option, make a prompt and courteous full refund. As with all Elantolia purchases, you will have ten days to decide whether or not the items you received meet with your expectations and high standards.
